Look Again! Celebrating the AGW Collection
April 4, 2015 (ongoing)
Many of our visitors have expressed a desire to see more of the collection. We value this feedback and have been working with the Education Committee, led by Giovanni Pecoraro and formerly Michèle Tarailo, along with teachers and senior school board administrators to revisit this commitment with K-12 curriculum support in mind. This new collection exhibition will focus on three core topics which support curriculum needs and visitor interest: Portraiture and the Body; Form and Design Through Abstraction; and Canadian Heritage and the Land. The gallery will also include The Salon Wall, a splendid reconstruction of salon-style display dominantly profiling the Gallery’s pre-20th-century painting collections, and the Moving Image Program.
