Art History Film Series

Wednesday, October 30 | 12 pm – 1 pm

In honour of the late Janet McKenzie, the AGW Volunteer Committee presents films by Waldemar Januszak. The fall film series includes the film-maker’s episodes from Understanding Art which focus on the Rococo and Baroque periods of 17th and 18th century European art. In the final film of this program, we present The Lost Genius of British Art: William Dobson. In this project, Januszczak portrays the little known 17th-century portrait painter William Dobson as the first English painter of genius. Join us for this fascinating series presented every Wednesday through Novemnber at noon. Light refreshments will be served.

Location: Winterbottom Gallery, 3rd floor.

FREE for AGW members and with regular gallery admission
