The Gordie Howe International Bridge is a once in a generation undertaking that will deliver much-needed transportation improvements for international travellers, bring jobs and opportunities for growth to the Windsor-Detroit region and includes features that make this project truly distinctive.

Join Karey Thatcher, Architectural Project Coordinator at the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority, and Julie Rae Tucker, Head of Programs and Collections at the Art Gallery of Windsor for an in-person informative session on how architecture, aesthetics, local culture and heritage have been integrated into the visual identity of the bridge. Karey will go over everything from colours and textures, to lighting and landscaping alongside a 20-foot bridge scale model which highlights the intricate design details of the project components.
