AWE at Night

Looking for something to do as the sun goes down?

On June 16, the Gallery will be open late from 5-9 pm for AWE at Night featuring food and beverage pop-ups from local vendors as well as lively entertainment. Come on out for the beautiful views - both inside and out!

• WindsorEats will be serving Margaritas and beer  

• Cooper’s Hawk Winery will be serving wine

• Rico Taco will be serving Elotes (Mexican street corn)

Rainbow Rorshach Prints with Derrick Carl Biso, 5 pm – 9 pm, education studio 

Create colourful monoprints! Join artist and curator Derrick Carl Biso in the AWE education studio and create one-of-a-kind rainbow Rorschach prints. Inspired by the exhibitions Looking Back, Looking Forward and Grey Matter: Your Brain on Art, discover symbols hidden in vibrant inkblot prints. What will you see? 

Artist Tour with Jude Abu Zaineh, 7 pm – 8 pm, second floor 

Join artist Jude Abu Zaineh for a guided tour of the exhibition, ي حضرة الغياب | In the Presence of Absence. This exhibition forms part of Below the 6, a series of exhibitions that focuses on artists based in Southwestern Ontario whose practices are socially and politically minded. Below the 6 is guest curated by Noor Alé and is generously supported by TD Canada Trust.
