100 Years of Music

In partnership with the Windsor Community Museum, the AGW is hosting a series of concerts in celebration of The 100 Years of Music, an exhibition documenting the Windsor Federation of Musicians and their influence and involvement in the city over the last 100 years.

The exhibition opened at the Windsor Community Museum in February 2011 and runs until the end of the year. The project includes the history of the Federation of Windsor Musicians, their relationship to the American Federation of Musicians, the cross-border nature of Windsor as an international city and the association of the Federation with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Windsor Light Theatre, University of Windsor School of Music, and the individual members covering every music genre and the local venues that have hosted (for example, the Elmwood, Top Hat etc.) music over the last 100 years.
