Pride & Joy:
Community Art Exhibition

September 16 – November 30, 2021

Location: WFCU Eco-Lounge, 3rd floor

To celebrate Pride Fest in Windsor-Essex, the Art Gallery of Windsor partnered with Windsor-Essex Pride Fest to showcase artworks made by members of our community who are 2S-LGBTQQIA+ and our allies. The 65 works displayed here were made by an intergenerational group of community members, ranging in ages from 13-63. The range in materials and subject matter is representative of the diverse perspectives and experiences of members of our community. We hope that through engaging with this exhibit we can help continue the work of developing more respectful, affirming, and celebratory communities where we all belong and feel pride and joy.

Organized by Derrick Carl Biso, Coordinator Special Initiatives
