Call for Submissions! Sundays in the Studio
This year, due to the ongoing pandemic, the AGW moved many of its programs online, including Family Fun Sundays in the Studio. We reached out to our talented Gallery Guides, volunteers, and local artists who were up to the challenge! They quickly adapted to the new format, creating and delivering engaging instructional videos from their home studios.
Now, we need your help! Did you participate in Family Fun Sundays in the Studio this year? We want to display your work in our community display gallery!

To submit your art:

- For all our videos, please visit our Youtube channel
- Create an original work of art inspired by a video workshop
- Send your work by mail to 401 Riverside Dr W, Windsor, ON N9A 7J1
- OR Send a photo of your work to shinch@agw.ca
- Deadline to submit work: June 1st, 2021
WHAT IS THE AGW COLLECTING?
Let Sundays in the Studio inspire your next masterpiece! Create an original work inspired by a Sunday in the Studio workshop. Works received will be featured in our next community display at the AGW in Summer 2021, or once it is safe to do so. Submit your original artwork by mail, or submit an image of your artwork before June 1, 2021. . In addition, some submissions may be featured on AGW social media.
WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED?
This past year has been challening, but one things that's kept us going is ART! Through art, we've been able to connect with others and with ourselves, virtually! The purpose of this display is to showcase artwork from the community, for the community and to celebrate our local artists!
WHAT DO I SUBMIT?
Watch a Sundays in the Studio art-making video and create an original work of art inspired by a video workshop. For all our videos, please visit our Youtube channel. Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to submit work. Submissions can include paintings, drawings, mixed-media works, sculptures, collage, photography, prints... You can either mail your original work to the Art Gallery of Windsor or submit a digital image of your work to shinch@agw.ca. We are not accepting drop off submissions at this time. The AGW is closed and staff are working remotely.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Artists, creators, and makers of all ages and skill level are welcome to participate. Open to Canadians and our friends across the world!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUBMIT?
- BY MAIL: Your work, with your name signed on the back (city and age optional). Send to 401 Riverside Dr W, Windsor, ON N9A 7J1
- BY EMAIL: A high resolution digital image (JPEG) with your name (city and age optional)
